A Little more about My Summer

Image
We have had a very busy summer (my last post was just the tip of the iceberg) I will begin with the Root Cellar, which we began in Oct. sometime,it was the hardest thing i can remember ever doing,I'll start at the beginning.  It was springtime 2013 when mama and papa started talking about our root cellar project, and to us kids it sounded they where planing the end of the world, literally, so they went online and researched to find the best way of building it, the results where to build the cellar out of used onion bags, so they ordered about a thousand of them (all had to be filled with dirt) they had planed at first to fill the bags with the track-hoe, but we ended up filling them all by hand (the worst part) while papa did some other stuff that needed to be done around the farm with the track-hoe: take out dead trees, move dirt...etc...etc.   Papa dug a big hole in the side of the hill where we had planed it. After we had filled about 60 bags papa and one of the boys got dow

Summing up My Summer Fun

I enjoyed my summer a lot, from working in the garden (although i have to say put mama through it every time we had to) to having fun with friends.  But summer comes with its problems, but i wont ruin your reading by listing them : P . summers good times consist of nice long walks and much laughter, and many other things of course, but these are the things i have enjoyed: A walk with my cousin Zoe :-)) :-P (we went on several others).  a visit to the lake near our house for a picnic with grandparents.  time with friends at the harvest party (sort of like Halloween). ~   just a random picture. Thank y'all for readin my blog. Abigail

All of my brothers love fishing, I don't like it and I am not good at it at all, so I just spent my time taking pictures and editing them, deleting them because I messed up, getting frustrated because the camera on my iPod isn't very good quality, aaaarrrrgggg you stupid thing...click...click...wow that's a really good picture, this camera is great...soo I never get around to asking papa to get me a better camera app.                                                                                 ~                                                                              This picture and...  this picture...  and this picture where all taken at the farmers market, now you know some of what I do when I get bored sitting at my tea stand trying sooo hard and sometimes failing to sit up straight and SMILE.  Eeeeeeewwwwwww corn growing out of the tassel.  I love taking pictures of the sky . And on top of all this I got an iPod :)) :)) :))

My Outdoor Brother

Yes he is... only because he is sweet gentle and a good family dog as far as not being cranky or biting little kids. As long as we have had him( since he was a puppy ) I can remember him faithfully letting us know that somebody was here. Of course he is not a perfect angel dog... as in recent days he has ran off with his girlfriend who was a very wild homeless hound like black dog now known as: THE BLACK DOG, in sentences such as: remember when the black dog ran away with Honey bear , but surprisingly enough he never went farther than irritating our already irritated with us n eighbors to the point of almost calling the pound . On another day he bit the UPS guy in the hand, we think it was because we leaving to farmers market a lot , p oor dog. And anyway after he came back to us( from running away with the black dog) he has seemed extra close to us like sleeping on the porch at night right in front of the door...anybody trying to get out of the house at
