At last...I write

Hello everyone,I haven't written in forever...I say that every time I blog, don't I, lol, well just apologizing...sorry.
   Wow it's cold outside, I hate it, wish it was spring, flowers, birds (that don't look like there freezing to death) warm rain, and the subject I'm least looking forward to...gardening...the one thing I appreciate or love about winter is the absence of garden work, now I'm working my way into a complete new subject then what I was planning to write about, whatever it was.     


 
 Here is a funny picture my big brother Nathanial drew, it's supposed to be a frog crawling up a window.
I know I'm really boring and I should write more (mama) but mostly its because I don't know what to write...if you have any brainy ideas please tell.

Harvest Party Costume (yes...ikikik...im super late)

So lately I have been finding myself obsessed with anything WWII and 1940s...so naturally I was overly excited about dressing up for our annual Harvest Party (we don't do Halloween). After many ideas that came and went, I finally settled on "WWII agent", and ideas and grand plans started whirling around my head immediately, Goodwill here I come.      I started by combing every Goodwill store for suits that would match this particular time period. I came up with a beautifully colored pant suit, which fit me well enough.   Of course I should also mention that I don't wear pants...ugh...first road block.  The transforming of the slacks into a pencil skirt was perfect, and after many adjustings and slips to cover up unseemly lines and lumps, we did it!! The shoes...ah...the shoes...this is a very long story, but to shorten it I will just say that I had been looking for them for months, I wanted a pair that were nice, American made, non 3 inch heele

things for young ladies to do on a cold winter day

this is a close up picture of my knitting. In Grandmas Attic. I enjoyed reading Beverly Cleary to.  I also enjoyed this series of books, mama read these aloud to us when we where little, I loved them a lot, these books are full of adventure that girls of all ages will love. this is a series of books every girl or boy should read. this is what I have been working on for quite a long time, it's a scarf for one of my best friends (Melinda).  This is my knitting bag, it is supposed to be a purse but I don't like soft purses.     My great aunt made this monkey doll for me, and I made the apron. I got this in a kit, it came with paint, it was hard to put together, and fun to  paint.
