Photo Update!!!☺

So yeah, I have been mainly focusing on my story lately and have not made a personal post! Here it is!!!
What's been up!!

  • Got an awesome new D3300 Nikon camera for Christmas!!! Woohoo!!! (Photos at the end of post)
  • I have started guitar lessons and am working hard at improvement.
  • I am part of a band (don't know if I mentioned this yet?) I am lead singer in a band called Branch Water (small group, we have only preformed twice...lol, but we are going to be playing this summer at the Troy Farmers Market!!)
  • I am studying for my permit/temps I'm taking my good ol' time at it too...ugh.
  • Been reading some awesome books lately too: Divergent by Veronica Roth, Maze Runner by James Dashner (don't mind my bad spelling) and hhmmmm...I think that's it besides school books.
  • Movies!!!! Lol, Lord of the Rings is still my ongoing fave movie and Maze Runner comes in second, aaaaand, Divergent comes in last (not a big fan of Tris's attitude, no offence Eden DiCosimo)
  • My life has been busy!!! Made a few new friends! Hannah Grace, Anwen Harris and Eliza Godfrey! All beautiful peeps!!! I met Hannah through a magazine where I advertised for a pen-pal, i met Anwen through the farmers market (formerly the cookie girls daughter...lol 😉) and Eliza does ASL which i am studying is school at the moment so shes gonna help me with that!!!

Harvest Party Costume (yes...ikikik...im super late)

So lately I have been finding myself obsessed with anything WWII and 1940s...so naturally I was overly excited about dressing up for our annual Harvest Party (we don't do Halloween). After many ideas that came and went, I finally settled on "WWII agent", and ideas and grand plans started whirling around my head immediately, Goodwill here I come.      I started by combing every Goodwill store for suits that would match this particular time period. I came up with a beautifully colored pant suit, which fit me well enough.   Of course I should also mention that I don't wear pants...ugh...first road block.  The transforming of the slacks into a pencil skirt was perfect, and after many adjustings and slips to cover up unseemly lines and lumps, we did it!! The shoes...ah...the shoes...this is a very long story, but to shorten it I will just say that I had been looking for them for months, I wanted a pair that were nice, American made, non 3 inch heele

Cutest little tree frog ever !!!!!

 This tree frog is soooo adorable in this picture it is just sitting there, holding on to this twig. This is the cutest picture, but of course I put it there.  OH, isn't he cute, just sitting there with his legs all folded up underneath him.  HOP,HOP, HOP, away little tree frog.  PS. O.K, Sophia you can admit he's cute.

things for young ladies to do on a cold winter day

this is a close up picture of my knitting. In Grandmas Attic. I enjoyed reading Beverly Cleary to.  I also enjoyed this series of books, mama read these aloud to us when we where little, I loved them a lot, these books are full of adventure that girls of all ages will love. this is a series of books every girl or boy should read. this is what I have been working on for quite a long time, it's a scarf for one of my best friends (Melinda).  This is my knitting bag, it is supposed to be a purse but I don't like soft purses.     My great aunt made this monkey doll for me, and I made the apron. I got this in a kit, it came with paint, it was hard to put together, and fun to  paint.
