Image
So yeah, I have been mainly focusing on my story lately and have not made a personal post! Here it is!!! What's been up!! Got an awesome new D3300 Nikon camera for Christmas!!! Woohoo!!! (Photos at the end of post) I have started guitar lessons and am working hard at improvement. I am part of a band (don't know if I mentioned this yet?) I am lead singer in a band called Branch Water (small group, we have only preformed twice...lol, but we are going to be playing this summer at the Troy Farmers Market!!) I am studying for my permit/temps I'm taking my good ol' time at it too...ugh. Been reading some awesome books lately too: Divergent by Veronica Roth, Maze Runner by James Dashner (don't mind my bad spelling) and hhmmmm...I think that's it besides school books. Movies!!!! Lol, Lord of the Rings is still my ongoing fave movie and Maze Runner comes in second, aaaaand, Divergent comes in last (not a big fan of Tris's attitude, no offence Eden DiCosimo) ...

Photo Time!!

Image
Due to the fact that we have been missing our camera cord, my photo updating has been delayed....well here's all you missed!! Yes, it's been a while...this picture was from waaaaay back in February!  Frozen fog! It was so beautiful...wish I could capture the true beauty of standing there and seeing it. Here is a closer photo of the frozen fog. Everything looks so wind-swept and bare...makes me glad it's spring XD. Green is a good color (no offense to the people who love white) I don't know how I lived through the winter, all this green popping up is just so BEAUTIFUL!!     When I was shopping with Grandma the other day I found this huge jug of bubbles! I knew the boys would love it. It ended up perfect, one of mamas friends came over, and her daughter is just Timothy age, they all blew bubbles and had a good time...After they were done I came outside and took a few shots of some bubbles...it was challenging. ...

A Little more about My Summer

Image
We have had a very busy summer (my last post was just the tip of the iceberg) I will begin with the Root Cellar, which we began in Oct. sometime,it was the hardest thing i can remember ever doing,I'll start at the beginning.  It was springtime 2013 when mama and papa started talking about our root cellar project, and to us kids it sounded they where planing the end of the world, literally, so they went online and researched to find the best way of building it, the results where to build the cellar out of used onion bags, so they ordered about a thousand of them (all had to be filled with dirt) they had planed at first to fill the bags with the track-hoe, but we ended up filling them all by hand (the worst part) while papa did some other stuff that needed to be done around the farm with the track-hoe: take out dead trees, move dirt...etc...etc.   Papa dug a big hole in the side of the hill where we had planed it. After we had filled about 60 bags papa and one of the bo...

♠ WOW!!!! its been such a long time since I've written , and i don't know what to write,it's hard to write anything interesting during the winter:lots of snow...cold ...sledding...sick-of winter-...can't wait till march... ug it's snowing again... But really snow can be fun at times. We got lots of snow this year- at least compared to last year- lots of my friends are like '' seriously Abiga il winter isn't your favorite time of year''and i always repl y ''NO'' o.k.back to the subject, sorry page viewers I seriously need to write more often ... o.k. I feel better now. M e and my Papa agree that important people are born in July and May-I added May- but my Papa and my Memaw where born in J uly .      I love this picture even though I was only 8 or 9 when it was took  I was standing in the meadow next to my Grandmas house. Just last year they-the people that owned the meadow- turned it into a field it looks very depressing now...
